Do you have time to travel long term?
No, is for most people a pretty clear answer to that. What would happen with everything if you just took off? How could you possible squeeze something like that into you already overbooked schedule? Well that is kind of the point. The time to travel long term is not something that is meant to be squeezed in.

One of the main purposes with traveling long term is to give you a break from a tight schedule.
You put all that stress on hold and step into the emptiness that is waiting to be filled with your dreams and desires. You get a chance to kind of start over and fill it with whatever you want. It can even be some work along the way and school exercises for the children if that is what it takes. But please, for your own sake, don’t cram too much in.
But the thing is if you are waiting for a 6 month free time slot to appear in front of you the risk is that you might be disappointed. You will never just have the time to travel long term. You will have to make room for it. You will have to create the time. Decide that this is what you want to do and then give it priority!
On the no time to travel page you can find out more.
And if you want to know why now may be the best time to travel, you can check out this blog.

This type of long trips are a challenge for me. Until now I have a very standard history, with summer trips, winter holidays, but nothing compared to six months away from home.
Hi
Good work…unique site and interesting too… keep it up…looking forward for more updates.
Thanks!!!
Daniel -it does require a different kind of planning. But if you really want to do it I am sure there is a way. There always is I believe. What is your obstacle, if you have any?
Tanmay – We try our best! Share our beliefs and experience and hope it might interest someone… Happy to hear that you liked it
really very interesting site this is the first time i came to your site i found in Google.these trips are challenge for me.
Monika – Thanks for you comment. Why are these trips a challenge to you? Is it when you are on your trip or is before actually taking off, when you have the desire but the obstacles seems to big? Is having the time the main obstacle for you?
i agree with you time is the main obstacle for me.
Monika – did you have a look at the time page? http://www.extendedworldtravel.com/i-love-to-travel-but/no-time
I think you just have to decide one day that you are going to take the time to travel. Otherwise you will probably never have it I am afraid.
Six months traveling?. This is something I’ve been thinking for some time, as the webmaster profession gives certain freedoms. The issue is that I must do it alone, and there are always fears to the unknown places.
Six months of travelling is great. We just did it! But a year would also be good:-)
It really makes a difference if you travel longer. you open up to people and landscapes amd of course your family.
Greetings, Gabi
